Your journey begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your licensed local guide and transferred to the ancient city of Ephesus. Explore the marble streets of this extraordinary city, including the Library of Celsus, Grand Theatre, and other monumental structures that once defined Roman urban life. Continue to the peaceful House of the Virgin Mary, nestled in the hills above Ephesus, followed by visits to the Temple of Artemis and Basilica of St. John. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Kuşadası for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Pamukkale, one of Turkey’s most unique natural wonders. Walk along the white calcium terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continue to the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you will explore its well-preserved Roman theatre, necropolis, and ancient baths. Guests may optionally swim in Cleopatra’s Pool (subject to availability and entrance fee).
Return to Kuşadası in the evening for overnight accommodation.
Following breakfast, travel north to the ancient city of Pergamon, once a powerful cultural and political center of the Hellenistic world. Ascend to the Pergamon Acropolis to explore the steep hillside theatre, royal palaces, and the site of the legendary Altar of Zeus.
Continue to the Asklepion, an important healing sanctuary where early medical practices combined science, spirituality, and therapy. After lunch, transfer to Izmir Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
